Agree. Even once reincarnated he should become our manager again in 2120 :-)Get to fuck. Pep Should stay forever.
name checks out ahahWe can sell all players but Pep must stay. He is the best coach in football history. We can win at least 2 UCL and 4-5 PL if he stay 5 more years.
I want him to stay, but i also believe he needs to be a little more flexible in his approach and maybe reinvent himself a touch.I genuinely think he could get more out of his squad if he wasn't so restrictive.Pep should stay until 2023. We‘ll need fresh start, new ideas, energy and motivation.
True great leadership comes from the ability to constantly evolve.I want him to stay, but i also believe he needs to be a little more flexible in his approach and maybe reinvent himself a touch.I genuinely think he could get more out of his squad if he wasn't so restrictive.
The English media are pussies compared to the Spanish and as mc city stated, Bayern was full of ex playing tax dodgers who were happy to tell Pep that he was not doing it the "Bavarian way"I don't think your reasoning is off but it's worth noting that Pep didn't have it as easy as you'd think media-wise in his former roles.
At Bayern he was constantly getting sniped because of how his methods weren't necessarily the 'Bayern way'. And he received a lot more scrutiny for failing to win the CL than he has here.
At Barcelona there was so much hatred from the Madrid section of the media (remember the time he ranted at Mourinho?), plus he was getting asked too much about Barcelona's political mess that he was pissed off.
The English media is more like high school drama. Lots of sly comments and frequent unfavourable views but it's nowhere near the shit he had to deal with elsewhere.
Obviously Pep wants to win the Champions League but I honestly don't think winning it would make him think, "right that's it, job done." I think he's more interested in whether the team is the best it can possibly be and improving himself as a manager/coach. He's in a perfect working environment with full support from everyone at the club and as long as he feels happy and motivated, I think he'll want to stay.Win Europe and he won't stay after end of his contract. Although if we sign a big name striker I feel it may make him change his mind & he will extend even if lifting European Cup.
