i think it’s more the case that they were 20 plus points clear of us at the time and about 30 clear of the next lot so had absolutely no need to be involved with the letter as they were always going to be in the CL. I can see why the others were involved as it’s dog eat dog for the CL money but Liverpool just showed that they were involved purely because they are a bunch of back stabbing ****s who shouldn’t even be talking about bans from Europe with their extremely chequered past. Pep was clearly surprised too!
