Pep's Press Conference | Reaction to CAS Verdict | Video (Pg 11) | Embargo (pg 57), Video (pg 58)

That press conference from Guardiola is absolute dynamite. You can tell he’s been waiting to get that off his chest. Great to see him calling out some absolutely rank hypocrisy and snide behaviour from certain clubs. He’s truly one of us now.
He was on the other side of the fence at Barca & Bayern so never experienced this.

Sorry if it is has been posted but in Martin Samuels latest piece he effectively says that wolves now seem to have left the Hateful 8 but names Newcastle in the list. I don’t see what they have to gain by joining this, especially if their takeover goes through. Very narrow thinking on their part in my opinion but the bottom line is we were cleared and still the attempts to damage us by other clubs go on.

I can see the European elite pressing ahead with plans for a breakaway league but don’t think it will happen as the impact to their players of not being allowed to play international football will be too big a price BUT it is time we put a stop to the elite cartel and the hateful 8 and got the Premier league to make a statement on their investigation and what, if anything, is still outstanding as I feel this is still damaging to our club.

Totally agree with this. I’m no fan of either but the press is using them to stoke up a war of words between the managers. Pep is having none of it. His press conference was a masterclass of iron will expressed in diplomatic terms. I used to think the agenda and conspiracy theorists were ott but I am genuinely shocked by the outrageous irresponsibility of the media. in fact it’s perhaps as well no crowds are allowed at games for the time being because the press are delighting in stirring up hatred just so they can sell their pathetic newspapers. Times Guardian Independent are just as bad as the red tops in this.. it’s disgraceful but I am so looking forward to Khaldoon’s statement.
I think Pep conference yesterday was the first salvo in the shitstorm we were told about by PB and others
I think there is a distinction between the European elite cartel and the Premier league Hateful 8 - some clubs (rags, dippers, arse) are in both groups. Honistein has deliberately chosen to ignore that distinction in my view

I was there too - I think the ref was Cudlington who’d been struck off for being crap and then reinstated. Had a shocker and the Kev decision was hilarious.

At the time I was furious, but looking back I wouldnt change anything. I dont think super Kev would either as he frequently brings it up on twitter and has become a bit of a meme haha.

My issue with what Mourinho said is that he did not acknowledge we were innocent. He should have just said that we are innocent so we should not be banned and shouldn’t be paying a fine.

Klopp was speaking for Fenway Sports and Jose was speaking for Daniel Levy. The cartel are very upset and weak managers are acting as their mouthpieces. Have to respect Arteta and Lampard who’ve both had the good grace to show some class and character.

Just got to wait for Solksjaer now to show us his crying face, that **** won't have the bottle to have a go.
I actually think he has a bit more class than that, certainly a lot more than that goofy gurning wife beater

It’s no coincidence that Lampard and Arteta can obviously see our angle having been at the club and directly experienced the scrutiny we’ve been under:
