Pep's Press Conference | Reaction to CAS Verdict | Video (Pg 11) | Embargo (pg 57), Video (pg 58)

Sorry if it is has been posted but in Martin Samuels latest piece he effectively says that wolves now seem to have left the Hateful 8 but names Newcastle in the list. I don’t see what they have to gain by joining this, especially if their takeover goes through. Very narrow thinking on their part in my opinion but the bottom line is we were cleared and still the attempts to damage us by other clubs go on.

I can see the European elite pressing ahead with plans for a breakaway league but don’t think it will happen as the impact to their players of not being allowed to play international football will be too big a price BUT it is time we put a stop to the elite cartel and the hateful 8 and got the Premier league to make a statement on their investigation and what, if anything, is still outstanding as I feel this is still damaging to our club.
Just maybe the Hateful 8 has already had feedback from the PL that it's not going anywhere and it's only option is to encourage UEFA to take it to appeal which UEFA quite probably doesn't want to, even without seeing the full judgement?

Whatever, it smacks of desperation, at best.

A lesson to be learned for all in this.... if we’d of come out all guns blazing 5/6 years ago, we’d probably still be feeling the impact and it’s a great possibility we’d of never of seen Pep at our club..:.

A great deal of presumption is thrown our way, especially the lack of history, I thought Pep mentioning of Maine Rd, the greats of Bell and Buzzer, was an insight into a man who has made his own mind up through becoming ingrained in what it means to be a blue, it has never been fashionable, even after all the success, long may that continue as what separates us quite clearly now is we have retained our identity at its core, something a great deal thought we had lost or would lose eventually...

I know we inherit our love for the club in most instances, sometimes however it is pricked from afar, like my pal @ADegenerate across the pond, the point is you either get us or your don’t, we don’t give a fuck, what we are now though is an army with a general and a benefactor who will make sure we have the best tools to win battles...

We should have Sun Tzu plastered all over our shirts next year with ‘every battle is won before it is ever fought’

Zin, not degen the poker player?

I have a peculiar feeling that if the verdict had gone the other way Señor Tebas would have found absolutely nothing wrong with CAS's deliberations and we would see a string of PL managers giving knowing nods that justice had been served. It's just a bit funny that having come up with the other 'alternative' verdict, based on the evidence we presented and the 'evidence' that Uefa didn't seem to have, hence the £9m fine, there's summat up at t'Swiss mill!

They are both saying Exactly what the media claim (with a little bit of selective embellishment), imjo.

Funny they both said the same thing.

This could end up causing a breakaway super league.
Something that has been said may times on here would be used by the G14

I wish Pep would have slipped in, " At least if we had been banned it would only have hurt us and not got all other English clubs banned for five years too. Also the same club admitted guilt in hacking our computer system and paid US compensation. What is the saying you have here? People in glass houses?"
