Personally, I don't think we should be looking at more than three foreign world class players.

I want to see Pep mould a team that has enough class in it (Aguero, Kompany, Toure, Fernandinho, Pogba, Gundogan, De Bruyne, etc) with young players that are hungry and have an affiliation with the club. We have plenty in the U18s that given the right coaching, chances and encouragement, would be far more useful and have a long term passion for city.

We're not going to get anywhere by bringing in 8 or 9 players that will just end up in the same boat as players like Kolarov, Nasri, Mangala, Otamendi, Navas, Bony, Fernando, and before them Jovetic, Negredo, etc.

I want a team that has character, fight and aggression which is mixed with technical ability and guile. We are buying too many that look good in shit leagues or stand out in a poor squad, they aren't going to help us to develop a togetherness and will to win that we are so lacking in right now.

How much will it effect our chances of signing world class players if we finish outside the top 4. I know Pep has pulling power as a coach but will players really want to come.

Gundogan would come I reckon but players like pogba, lewandowski etc all want champions league. Wether they could be convinced to do Europa and a push at winning the premier league and then back in the champions league, who knows.

Apart from Aguero, we signed our best players when we were out of the Champions League (Kompany, Tevez, Yaya & Silva )

Sounds like our sales pitch to players will be to come and play under the worlds best manager in the most watched league in the world and get us back top again! Oh and get paid shit loads of money as well!! ;-)

Honestly, I think Fernandinho and Sterling are the only ones safe on your team. Maybe Otamendi as well. Silva and Aguero are too injury prone and looking at Munich's injury record, those 2 might not last under pep.

Not really. It is obvious that pep will changed your starting 11 a lot.
Yes it is ludicrous to suggest that he will get rid of Aguero. There is no one on the market to replace him that is as good as he is
