Bernat LB: €20 million
Denayer CB/RB (returning)
Larpote CB: €25 million
Isco CM: €35 million
Gundogan DM: €30 million
Sane AM; €25 million

Total: € 135 - 150 million max.

The only out I Would confidently predict is demichelis. Maybe bony too. Who knows what will or can happen to the rest?

Apparently Bayern have banned Pep from recruiting his former players. I can understand why, as it would make Bayern look weak if players followed Pep out of the club.

All in all, I really have no idea who we will get.

Shouldn't forget that coaches impact transfer targets as well. Not sure how things are set up at City but would be odd for Txiki to be making transfers without a coach's stamp of approval

It's easy, pre pell signings good, post bad.

Love to know how they intend to enforce that

Impose a self rule on not dealing with City. Anyways, I dont see which Bayern player looks a viable option. I would take Alaba a heartbeat, but he has been their since his teen years. He isnt German but as an Austrian thats like being a Scotsman in England.

I read a while ago that Pep had agreed that he wouldn't poach any of their players. But Bayern always want everyone to see them as being in charge; a terribly insecure and self conscious football club.

I'd also be very interested to know if there was actually any European law that would make this "ban" enforcable because it sounds like all they could do is ask Pep politely to leave them alone.

Self rule means little really but Bayern are not easy negotiating partners anyway.

Alaba is the one possibility and there have been rumours he is unsettled and prefers to play in midfield more & more however.

This will be interesting since I know Pep wouldn't unsettle Barcelona players. He isn't obliged to avoid this but considering his character it'll be interesting to see whether he imposes this approach with Bayern as well. Of course, as previously mentioned not sure if Alaba is attainable anyway

That's all they can do. They can't enforce it by law. And Pep is now under a contract with City, and I doubt that has any agreement from our board that we won't try and sign Bayern's players. If the club want to they'll contact agents etc but Bayern will flatly refuse to deal with us. I can't see their players forcing moves through though. Most will be happy to stay in Germany I'd imagine, but the Pep factor might just secure a couple of players in a year or so when players might wish to be back under his management.

I saw the results of a poll about an hour ago (can't remember which site) which suggested that over 80% of Bundesliga players would be willing to move to the Premier League if they were offered a better contract.

I'd take Lewandowski and Alaba in a heartbeat. There are others that are superb but who I would turn down for alternatives whereas those two are amongst the best in the world at what they do. Alaba has two years left on his contract and I'd be interested to see how long this "ban" would last if he pushed for a move and refused to sign a new one.

I actually can't see us signing any of their players anyway and that Pep will have other targets. I think Bayern are just making a statement here because they're naturally worried that their squad will get pulled apart.
