Incredible feat of engineering as Perseverance made it's decent through the martian atmosphere and onto that barren hostile nomadic landscape. Unbelievable what can be achieved with this !

Close very close. What a computer!
Just the fact that it can send the images back is mind blowing itself, especially when you consider that tv pictures "sent by sattelite" from another country was a big thing not long ago!!!

Scientific things like this alwayd make me a little emotional. They're incredible achievements and the people involved get criminally overlooked.
Similarly when spacex landed a reusable booster rocket. Absolutely pioneering stuff.
Higgs Boson discovery was another, photo of a black hole. Outrageous.
Next big one will be evidence of life, manned mission to the moon/mars or evidence of dark matter.

The video above, probably not, the wheels/tracks are different, and as far as I can see it hasn't moved yet, and in the video there are tracks from where it came. Probably one of the older rovers.
