It certainly is.

I have to admit though, I'm disappointed that they've left the roster update until the end of October. This is where Konami really let themselves down.

I'd heard good things about FIFA as well so I went out and bought it yesterday. I have both games now which gives me the variation, but after a couple of hours on FIFA I got restless and was itching for PES so switched back over.

The gameplay isn't even comparable. PES is just streets ahead. They've put so much time and effort into each player and each team that every game feels different. Tactically they've mimicked teams perfectly. Haven't started a master league yet until the update, but I have gone into a Champions League with Madrid and was just beaten by the scum in the last 16 3-2 on agg. Long punt into the box and who's there to nod home, yep, fucking bog brush. Doesn't get any more real than that!

FIFA these past couple of years have definitely gone backwards. In their attempt to bring reality in to the game has taken all the fun out of playing it for me. It's just not smooth, feels like your wrestling with the pad! I just love the smooth gameplay of PES but I have to admit Fifa has miles better graphics.

I tried playing PES 15 last year but found it shit tbh. I hadn't played PES or Fifa for a few years but I found the whole thing pretty crap. Having to rename teams and move players to correct teams, make kits etc just seemed a total faff to be able to play as City

Well just don't rename the team or change the kit and realise that just because they're not called the right name doesn't make it any less enjoyable because it's a GAME.

Part of a games appeal to me is the realism. It might 'play' like a more real game of football but it personally doesn't have much realism when playing as Manchester Blue and half the players no longer play for us!

There also seems to be an elitist factor that comes into play with anyone who plays PES over Fifa (bearing in mind I hadn't played either for a long while)

I have a PS4 so have imported all of the official kits licences badges etc. It takes 2 mins to download and another 2 minutes to throw on a USB and copy it to the PS4 hard drive.

Granted, it took me a good 2 hours to then go through them all and make them active but it's worth it. I only play football on the PS4 so for me it's worth it

If that is directed at me it just proves my point about people who play PES believe they are elitist. If I buy a game to play with mates occasionally, I find it enjoyable to pick a team that has the right players, right kits etc just makes it more enjoyable for me but that obviously makes me a bad person in your world. Weird how one can be so protective of 'just a game' but reading your previous posts on the matter I can see you are a man of principal. Good day
