He had it on in the late 70's when i saw him nearly every game outside the kippax.Did he wear all that gear back then? I guess he did as he had it on in 1987 when I travelled with him with the London supporters branch and we were at Maine Road then.

Pete is an absolute legend we should all treasure and it was a scandal when the BBC posted a pic of him with a snide caption. He wore all this gear at away games in the 70s and 80s when just wearing a scarf was very high risk. Good on yer Pete.
