Sad news, he was the part of the soundtrack to my youth with Football Italia and Pro-Evo. Great commentator.

Sad to hear this. I played PES all the time as a teenager, where he was the commentator of the first 6 games, if I recall. Got loads of happy memories of playing those games, for me the best football video games on PS2, then went downhill on the nex gen consoles.
