Indeed. I actually don't think this is an anti-City thing but more of one rule for England international players and another for those who are not. And that includes Lescott escaping action of course. Not that I'm saying his clash with Kaboul was intentional, just that it can't be any more proven that Balotelli's so-called stamp was intentional. As someone said yesterday, either charge both of them or charge neither.

it undoubtedly helped crouch that there was no media feeding frenzy demanding a ban. i must have seen the mario incident 50 times since sunday but have only seen the crouch incident for the second time since saturday a few minutes ago.

is anyone seriously going to suggest that if mario had done this there wouldn't have been a media shitstorm & a ban?

There is no excuse for this type of incident but it must be obvious to everyone by now that if you are a caucasian England player there is little chance that any incident will be referred. You have to be foreign found guilty by media talked about all day on Talk Shite and it's a done deal.

This. its quite laughable really.
Lets see, one is white and English, Balo isnt. You do have to wonder at times with Gerrad/Rooney etc all getting away with murder and now Crouch not charged for a deliberate and cowerdly attack from behind

It's the ref who has told the FA he would NOT have sent Crouch off whereas Webb said he WOULD have sent Balotelli off. That's why no ban for Crouch but a ban for Mario.
