Well i feel relieved after cancelling my sky subscription on Sunday after 14 years at a total cost of approx £5400. I won't be renewing until there is a balanced panel and commentary team.

I'm seriously thinking about this. I'll probably do it in summer. I tend to only watch City away games and they're on in a pub less than 100 yards away from my home. Did you tell them why you're cancelling?

I can safely assure you that cancelling Sky because of Martin Tyler and telling some Scottish Sky call-centre operator why will have no effect whatsoever.
I know some of the folk who work at the Dunfermline centre, it will give them a good laugh at least.

I bet sky are gutted that a couple of people are quitting because of Tyler after making 16% more profit in the last 6 months
Enjoy your dividend while it lasts ;-)

I've got a feeling they're in for an 'orrible shock when the next Premier League deal is up. BT can smell blood.

Yes I cant wait to listen to that **** Owen every non City game

have cancelled sky and now get streams for the games i cant attend , unfortunately the streams are usually espn or bein , and they are every bit as bad as sky & BT sport , with their snide vitriolic comments , it appears to be a media prerequisite to slag MCFC at every opportunity. Far better utilising the mute button , and listen to radio manchester commentary (although there is sometimes a time delay between fred eyre's dulcet tones and the action on the pitch)

I cancelled in the summer and i always put on a foreign stream for our games, saves all the stress of the Tyler's and Owen's of this world. I normally use English speaking streams only for games where I'm neutral I.e. not involving the rags, dippers ect.

If you've dumped Sky go the full hog.

I know but as I said there is a pub 100 yards away that shows every game. I pay about £80 a month for everything. I have about 500 channels and rarely anything interests me. Channels of repeats and shite. I pay £10 a month to be able to use Sky+. I can record on my tv if I buy a large USB drive. Nearly everything I want to see is on catch up or the web somewhere. It's just not value for money. I would sooner save the cash and go for a nice meal!!

For the last 6mths I have installed a MX Android tv box , paid £46.00, and now watch everything latest films , football, everything
even the new tv series on sky i am well in front, skybox as become redundant, football is in HD/SD aswell as the films.

I will be investing in one of these when i get paid at end of the month. Mate at work has 2 and they are mint.
The one i'm getting is £84.99. But after that no VM required i'll be quids in.

Tyler even seems to favour the opposition when we play in European games, which is pretty damning.
