Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

The original Sky 5, plus Chelsea now, are all part of the establishment. They are all buddies.

If we were a fairly skint club challenging for tenth, fifteenth place & scored vs a top side, Tyler would probably be fine with it & maybe even give us the full 'Rooneyyyy' when we scored. But every goal we score now, increases the chance of us getting further away from his chums, one way or another.

The 'Agueroo' thing was just the sheer occasion coming through.

If he's still at it in ten years, we may be part of his magic circle by then.

No the "Aguerooooo" was more of a

AguerNooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO

;)

I believe there may well be some truth in this.
From the commentary gantry would it have looked like much was on?
This will excite.
As Mario Balotelli falls over passing the ball you can see the pass causes Sergio to adjust his step and the ball is running slightly away from him and away from goal. He has no business scoring from which I agree is not an impossible but, a difficult angle nevertheless. It was truly a shit-hot goal

From this video it looks a little bit clearer but still looks as if he's shooting at an angle into a brick wall. Only Kun could have scored that goal that day,

It's very possible in my mind that the thoughts forming in Tyler's mind were to shout AGUEERRRROOOOOOOOO OOOOOH NOOOOO!!! CITY.... SO CLOSE!!!!!! LET'S GO BACK TO THE STADIUM OF LIGHT!

Then, of course, reality set in and as the Aguerrroooooooo trailed off, quite rightly he said "You'll never see anything like this ever again" For us, as it was so fecking amazing. For him, wishful thinking. That twat will never want us to win a game ever that he's commentating on, great! ... but don't be so blatantly biased! He's shown his true colours and they have been highlighted in his commentary on the Everton game last season as well as the Dzeko goal in the derby.

It was the swamp match that was the most telling for me. Edin scores in first minute, barely a sound, all our goals are played down. They had one long range effort way over (Welbeck I think) and he screeched like a banshee.

Spot on. On an another occasion in the same game the ball dropped to A&E in the box and he screamed "FELLAINI!!!!!!!!" at the top of his voice before microphone head wellied it high over the bar.

I always remember Dzeko's record setting goal and his reaction;

I can understand he may favour other teams over ours, but he needs to be a little more subtle about t. But more than anything else, it's his feckin irritating voice I dislike most about him.

Nearly bit me own teeth in two there

By the way people, let's not give him any slack over the Aguerooooooooooo! moment. Like other commentators on other occasions Tyler was looking for commentating immortality by suggesting the highly unlikely scenario of a dramatic City winner as the seconds ticked away. In the build up he said "It's all over at the Stadium of Light" and "City are still alive here". So when the winner was scored he let it all out, knowing that his commentary would be replayed endlessly all over the world. It wasn't about City. It was about himself, the self obsessed twat.
