I've said it in the past on here but he's notably less irritating when working for the US channels on commentary. I'm not absolving him in anyway as he's still the person saying what he's saying but it's more on Sky than it is him individually.

It's a trend you see amongst other commentators as well; one thing on English TV and then fair(er) overseas.
