We're all afraid of the dark given the right set of circumstances.
I'm don't care about any bias for or against City from him, it's the fact that he's just not very good at his job and has entered into the 'John Motson national treasure' region so therefore can't be replaced.

Stephen Warnock, Neil Mellor. Really big stars in Liverpool's history. Warnock was as biased as fuck when I heard him co-commentating recently.

I’m going to defend Stephen Warnock as he is the only person in the media I heard call out how many decisions went against City for Liverpool in the Champs league. He’s a dipper but he noticed it, called it & made me realise they all saw it, everyone knows we were cheated.

Since then I’ve actyalkt found him a breath of fresh air & links up well with our legend Michael Brown on the radio.

For me, the one that stands out with Tyler is the opening game of the season away to Arsenal. Sterling's opening goal, I had no idea it was in, the commentary was so underwhelming. It was the noise of the away supporters and the change in the score line that gave it away that we had scored and not Tyler's commentary. Mark that against how he screeches when Salah, Hazard or the infamous ROOOONEEEEAAAYY goes into shoot. Gets my goat it does.

It winds me up too.
And don't forget David Silva at anfield in front of the kop. was there that day....but watching the match back later Tyler goes deathly quiet when Silva scores

Exactly, he's a company man rather than anti-City. He's paid by Sky to squawk when the biggest team in any given match, scores, so understandably that's what he does. Unfortunately for us, when we're playing teams like the rags, dippers or the Arse, with big global fanbases, that means him being more animated over their goals than ours. You can tell the tide is slowly turning though if you compare the funeral that clearly took place in his head when Dave scored at Klanfield in 2014, to the Aguero opener vs the dippers at City in January, when he sounded dangerously close to excited.....
