Applies to all media nowadays….I think we all know they’ll use the opportunity to tick a box with his replacement.
Which is fine if they’re actually any good.
My god, why does this loose conspiracy wind you up so much? But any commentator would do the same bearing in mind the significance of that goal. It was an historic goal and will always be looked upon as such. The fact that Tyler was commentating was irrelevant.
He has over the years made many a derogatory comment about us: in particular since Pep arrived. He has been taking nasty, snidy digs at us pretty much since he started at Sly, whilst silmutaneously fellating anyone involved with the rags. Reference was made to his way over-the-top commentating when Martial scored his first goal for the rags - absolutely disgusting. Compare that with the funereal tone of his voice whenever we scored, he sounded like Unlucky Alf ("Oh, bugger!").
It doesn't, I just despise Martin Tyler. My god, why does this loose conspiracy wind you up so much?
Next season will be a joy listening to these two bitter pricks.I've noticed that pundits like Neville, and particularly Carragher, are now almost beginning to take the lead in the commentary. I do hope they are not about to get promoted!
