That wasn't because it was the rags it was because martial was laughed about all summer as they paid 60m for an unknown kid only for him to score on his debut.

Dury is contacracted to The Premier League but a substantial offer from Sky may sway him.

There's a massive cull on Sky and BT Sport this summer on presenters and commentators. Unfortunately spit boy and rat boy are not part of it

Thought our treatment of him at the 93.20 event last year was very poor.
Whoever takes over within 12 months we will have the same opinion.

I didn’t like him much, and at 77 or whatever he is, he really should have stepped aside years ago as No1 commentator to give someone else a chance, but I do agree fully re that event.
Though I also think for the organisers to book him to attend in person and think it’d be all fine, was tone deaf.

Coleman and his '1-0' was always my fav as a kid.

These days I try to use foreign feeds or mute the fuckers.

Best thing sky did was the crowd only noise feeds and to a letter extent fanzine.

What made Coleman so great was he kept it simple. It was never about him, never about “witty asides” which to my mind seemed to emerge in the era of the dreadful Lawrenson on co-coms.

Coleman was also great at calling out the name of the player on the ball; often nowadays they don’t, and even in the era of UHD etc it isn’t always obvious.

The next biggest one is Geoff Shreeves who's been told they won't renew his contract unless he takes a significant pay cut.

A lot of the reporters on Soccer Saturday who report from the grounds are being let go which suggests Soccer Saturday my not come back or it will be entirely revamped.

A few of the Sky Sports News presenters are being let go.

On BT it seems the new TNT owners have been ruthless. Humphrey, Sutton, Savage and a lot more have gone
