This from a Celtic fan on a general football forum:
"Surprised no-one on here has mentioned it yet, given the "general attitude" shall we say, towards Liverpool on this message board, but did anyone else find Sky Sports' (and particularly Martin Tyler's) coverage of the game yesterday to be an an absolute joke?
He must have mentioned the "strange" atmosphere about 100 times throughout the match, constantly going on about the silence, how it's usually rocking, how the players seemed relaxed, how they would have to "field serious questions about their performance" after the match. When Dzeko scored to make it 2-1, he sounded almost disappointed, or unenthusiastic at the very least! Gary Neville even said at one point "I'll be honest with you Martin, I'm bored watching this game".
I for one didn't see many disappointed faces in the crowd when Barkley scored his wonder-strike, and to question the Everton players/manager's willingness to win the game was completely unjustified as they gave it a bloody good go! I for one thought it was a really good game, with 2 teams doing their utmost to win it.
I know it's not exactly a secret that the overwhelming majority of Sky Sports pundits etc want Liverpool to win the league, but the completely biased nature of the coverage yesterday was so clear, and really rather embarrassing."
It seems the twunts at Sky know they need the armchair dippers to replace the armchair rags.
