I have always had a lot of time of Tatchell. He is above all, a man of great strength and fortitude. I have differing political views to him but I do have utmost respect for his Social Liberalism and bravery.

Tatchell is a brave and principled campaigner for the rights of the gay,lesbian and transgender communities,and has been for years.
He has been beaten up in Russia in trying to promote equality,risked incarceration by attempting to make a citizens arrest on the despicable Robert Mugabe,and had more death threats and bullets sent to him than cretins like you have had hot dinners.
The man has nothing but respect from me.
So why don't you just take your thinly-vieled homophobia somewhere else,because I was under the impression that such bullshit was outlawed by our code of conduct?

in my opinion Whitney Houston was THE Greatest female singer ever ... and i don't say that lightly , there have been some top class female talents over the years .... it was so sad to hear of this weeks events , and her family don't need anymore stress or distress , especially at this tender time.

No I don't. But I don't see Tatchell as a spokesperson for gays. Nor even think of him as gay anymore than I think of Galloway as straight. His sexuality doesn't come into it. He is a campaigner on many things, not just gay rights.

Was sick to death of hearing about him 10/15 years back.
But then I read an article/interview about him just a couple of years ago and found I had a lot more time for him.
I think he has mellowed in his outlook in recent years and is not as vociferous as he once was; the Whitney Houston comment though was perhaps a little too soon.
