Petrol prices

Dearest I saw at service stations on M6 yesterday was £1.99 diesel and £1.97 petrol.

Be over 2 pound in a few weeks time.

Wouldn`t be surprised if it`s hit the £2 mark already at Lymm services . Always 20 / 30p Ltr dearer than anywhere else .

£2.04 a litre at Hilton Park yesterday , just over £800 to fill the truck up

I don’t understand people who fill up their cars at the dearest station when it’s cheaper at a supermarket that is a few hundred yards away.

its not good its just the same as all the others
Don't think it is to be honest. Fuel has to meet a minimum standard. Supermarket fuel does as they wouldn't be able to sell it. BP and Shell etc put additives in their fuel to help clean injectors and fuel lines etc.

I brought a brand new Vivaro van a few years ago for work. I only ever used to fill up at BP for nectar points. Then sainsbury decided to build a big supermarket with a fuel station near to my house. We shopped there, so it made sense to fill up there. After a dozen or so fill ups my vans dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree. And seriously under powered.
Took it to the dealer and they asked me where I had been filling up. The mechanic then told me about the fuel and they see it quite a lot with supermarket fuel.

Neve been near a supermarket fuel station since. And never had any problems since. (touch wood).
