Petrov - Someone please explain why he didnt play.

can someone please explain why petrov didnt play,
swp has just come back from injury and is not playing well.

I agree about SWP but I assume it's because we needed everyone on the pitch to do their defensive bit and not sure Petrov fits that bill. When we have our first choice defence playing hopefully this won't be as much of an issue.

Because he's second choice and hasn't got the quality or form of Bellamy on the left and SWP is our first choice wide right player, obviously felt he was fit enough to play and with the ultra defensive tactics we had setup Bellamy and SWP are the better options for protection of the flanks.

proberly because he wanted someone that will put in a shift definsivley and also because no matter how many times its tried Petrov isnt a right winger
