Petrov to be used as bait for Lescott

He's one of the most one-footed players you're ever likley to see, so I can't really see him working on the right.

That was my impression of him too. It's a bloody good foot though.

Yeah, playing him in front of Baines would be terrible, because if you take away Baines' attacking threat he's a below average left back. It would probably never, ever work for him at Everton.

Yet I'd still be happy if I heard he'd joined :)

I really like Petrov, will be sad to see him go, but as with Elano the team is growing stronger, no player should be guaranteed a starting place with the squad we've got.

Bollox, Everton will finish higher than us next season if this happens. MH is not that stupid, this is Lescott we are after, not Messi.

I think Petrov might be a spent force, as mentioned earlier his effectiveness is in his speed and I reckon he's lost half a yard.
