Petrov would have left if Hughes was still in charge

I have not been a big fan of Petrov, but he has played really well in his few appearances this season. I saw him as an out and out winger, but his passing is very good

Agree with your general point, although i'm not sure he's by far the best passer in the team. Ireland could give him a run for his money there, more two footed and a bit more varied and subtle i think. Petrov switches the play alot, which i really like, helps stretch teams, but Ireland would edge it for me.
