I have taken on board all of you posts to me on cats and come to one conclusion...BOLLOCKS cats rule! or thats what they tell me anyway as they have me trained not the other way around!
 
I prefer cats to dogs. A cat will look down at you, where as a dog will look up at you. However back to topic, having a pet in a family is a good thing as it prepares one on how to deal with grief.

Just paid £2000 this morning at the vets and shes still not out of the woods, id pay £10,000 if i knew she was going to be ok

The black Dane in the photo i posted, cost me about $4,000 in vet bills in the first 18 months i had him.
Worth every penny.
