Pets, what is the point ?

We have 4 cats in our house and they are fuc*in great fun.
Also had a dog for over 16 years and he was just like one of the family.
Still miss him now.

We had a cat that just pegged out aged four, we were devastated. We now have a small dog (my first ever) and she is an absolute joy. I am away a lot and she is good company for Mrs Rep. When I am here I take her for lots of walks which gets me exercise I wouldn't normally have so what's not to like?

I had a cat, Kinky, until last year when he died. Now buried in the garden. My house now smells normal and I have no cat hair on random things. The new sofa I bought a couple of months ago still is scratch free. I can leave doors open rather than keeping everything shut because he liked to sit on keyboards, pillows, window sills etc etc.

In short, I loved him, but I'm not getting another one.

This the longest i have been without a Great Dane since i was 15, can not wait for my kids to be old enough for me to get another one.
These were my last two, the ex wife got custody.

I don't have one myself but my garden seems to be a popular meeting place for these beautiful creatures.

As for dogs, they should be put down humanely. Their owners should be shot.
