PFA Awards | De Bruyne and Foden win POTY and YPOTY

Sly sports going big on the story ......not.

AWW they can't hide their bitterness can they?
Rag loving, corrupt, propaganda pushing wankers.

Their main headline is Sir Marcus sends us to the Euros with a win bah hahahaha
It’s unbelievable that city have so many players winning awards...how did that happen? We know it’s deserved however the recognition that Dave, Sergio etc received was so minuscule it’s hardly worth mentioning.

It does not matter what the players, manager, or club achieve we will always be tactfully ignored by the biased racist media. The sheikh could cure world hunger but rashy would get all the plaudits. (He is doing a good job imo)

How long can they under report our magnificent achievements? How long is a piece of string?

‘Sport washed’ by dishonest, calculating, manipulative, ruthless organisations.

The media control opinions and dictate who should be praised and who should be vilified.

Social media revolution needed blues. We shall not go quietly into the night.

Anyway, big well done to Kev & Phil. Fully deserved after a fantastic league campaign.

Im disappointed we couldnt have got one of our women into top spot (not denying Kirby deserved it) and Kelly would have been close - we would have cleaned up the fucking lot!

OK, I guess I’ll say it!

I’m all for equal rights, but suggesting 9-5 City vs Chelsea is a joke, right?

Are you equating the men’s awards with the women’s?

To my eye it was 7-0 and 5-2, based on there being clear favorites in each category.

Chelsea have an unbelievable Women’s team and Hemp did outstandingly well this season to win YPOTY.

That said, equating the men’s awards with the women’s is hilarious. At least to me. We are a loooong way from equality, even if the titles on the trophies are the same,

I genuinely just think the players don't really care for Kane too much. He's obviously incredibly talented but I don't think his technical ability leaves them in awe like Kev's does, and I'd imagine the whole swearing on his daughter's life to take a goal off his teammate ordeal, plus his tendency to back into players recklessly, has influenced his reputation. Not saying they actively dislike him or anything, but I don't think they respect them in the way they respect Kev. He's just kind of.... there at the top of the stats charts and that's about it. Scores loads of goals but still manages to produce virtually no memorable moments which whether you agree or not, is important with these types of awards.

Feel a bit bad for Dias as I thought he deserved to win but I was also worried that winning every individual award this early in his time here would lead to a 'build him up just to tear him down' sort of situation, so I'm okay with him missing out in the end - long career ahead of him.

I'm assuming it's been talked about elsewhere but cant see it anywhere so I'll stick it here. Does KDB deserve his second successive PFA PoTY award? I'm delighted he's won it again but I personally think there's a bit of the usual "popular vote" vibe to this. There's arguably upto half a dozen City players alone that have had a better season than kdb. Stones, dias and gundogan have all been comfortably better in my eyes and there's a strong argument for foden mahrez and even walker being better.

You could literally name anyone in the one's nominated and it would make more sense. He is the best player in the league but for this season he should be nowhere that award much less getting nominated. We'd be boiling piss too if Salah had won it playing like Kev all season.

Simply amazing that he has won it, shows to me this is a 'political' award, the darling of the media.

KDB in my humble has had a very ordinary season by his standards, Walker, Dias and Foden have all been better.

That is a ridiculous post. And I don’t think you must watch us much.
I watch every game as you well know.

If it was Rashford being nominated despite starting under half the league games and having a modest goal and assist return nobody on here would think that was a fair nomination.
