PFA Back Tevez

Apparently we can't let him rot either.According to FIFA regs he must play in at
least 10% of our games or he can terminate his contract and go for free.
Does that include games where he's on the bench but refuses to warm up?

I am pretty sure the management were expecting this, at least as a fall-back scenario.

Maybe City should have announced beforehand that we were going to donating the 4 week fine to one of the charities for ex-profs that the PFA supports, and then watch Gordon Tosspot squirm as he reduces the amount of money they would be getting by half :)

Do FIFA define "play"? How many minutes qualify as having played thereby going to the 10%? May we put him on and bring him off a minute later?

What a failure of a business system, don't see why millionaires need some sort of union to go around and dictate what clubs can or cannot do.

Tevez just fcuk off already, we're tired of hearing about you.

OK - What would happen if we played him (or just let him warm up !) against Wolves ? Taylor is a Knob putting players safety at risk.

I think it has to be for a full season though. It will never get to that point. He will be sold in January.

Besides if Tevez wants to play hardball, we can pursue this.

Carlos Tévez should be banned from playing football by Fifa, says Vice-President Jim Boyce
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/8796093/Carlos-Tevez-should-be-banned-from-playing-football-by-Fifa-says-Vice-President-Jim-Boyce.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... He would be canceling his contract and then be out of football for years due to a FIFA ban.

No problem, 2 weeks fine it is....

He still wont play for us again and he wont be sold for anything less than what we deem fit and will be just a matter of time before he fucks up yet again and we can fine his arse anyway.

Stay strong on this and hang his and his slimy agents arse out to dry!

So in reality, is this verdict damaging to the club and is it weakening Mancini's case?

I just want it to end now.

What the PFA seem to be saying is that there is no middle ground between sacking someone or giving them the 2 week fine that you'd get for turning up to training late, being overweight (we could get Tevez for that) or critising the manager in public.

So next time a 3rd division player makes a more serious breach of his contract, I think clubs will just go down the sacking path.

Way to represent your players Taylor.
