I don't think we have any player who would get on the list. Rooney probably has more of an argument about being ommitted than Aguero......his motivational speeches have put the Rags on course for the title.

they've been better than him. Id agree with the lists tbh hazard for pfa player and Kane for young player

Someone convince me Costa has been better than Aguero.

Who has the most assists? Aguero.
Who is the better overall footballer? Aguero. Costa is a good player but not on the same level as Aguero.
Tiebreaker question: Who has the most Champions League goals? Aguero (6). Costa has 0 (zero).
Only because Costa is a novelty who plays for a better team is he nominated. Aguero is a better footballer who has had a greater individual impact on his team.

Put it this way, in the 21 years of the premier league giving out manager of the year awars, the manager of the year has been given to the title winning manager 17 times. Of the only 4 times in which it wasn't given to the league winner, two of them just happened to be the years when we won the league.
