Yep, I think the ref was going in his pocket for a second yellow and completely bottled it. Sergio sent off, the aftermath included Chalobah reacting with Ferdy who reacted back and got sent off.

Chalobah was the player who threw Sergio to the ground - red card if the laws were applied re violent conduct - and Fabregarse was the player who smacked Ferny with his hand across his face, similarly a red card, And we end up with two reds - reckless tackle by Sergio and Ferny shoving Fabregarse into the hoardings. All four red cards, but questions would be asked about the referee doling out four reds in one game, regardless of what is written in the LotG re violent conduct. The Alty Tit should never have refereed another game at any level after that fiasco.

Maybe that old rag mother Riley should just sit on var for every game then as he doesn't trust his on field officials and the one on var to get it right.

They did get it right, but OMR, with seemingly little knowledge of the LotG has to cosy up to his mates in the RDAHMeedya, so that when we are title winners by two points with an inferior goal difference to the Redshite, they can start thumping the tub as to how the CoachWreckers & SystemHackersFC were robbed.

Really surprised everton asked the PL for an apology. EVERY club goes through a season having decisions go for and against them, the same as it's always been. I'm sure everton will get one going their way sooner rather than later, and they'll be first to contact riley and co to tell them to apologise to the other club.
