Just seen the tweet Sam Lee has sent out, amazing news for the lad if its true. A few minutes on the pitch to introduce him to how the team wants to play, what he needs to do. Ecstatic for the kid, and hopefully he takes whatever opportunities come his way over this introductory season
 
Very happy for the youngster. Worked hard, showed his worth and got his chance. Showing Sancho how it's done.

Will be an idol for all other youngsters. Great role mode already.

Obviously an early start is definitely no guarantee of a good career, but I'm absolutely thrilled at the idea of Foden playing for us this season anyway.

Worth pointing out that only 1 player of those who played 90+ minutes was at a club which finished in the top 4 that season, and he was a notorious failure.

Speaking to a lad today who used to play with him in our Under 8's or 9's and could tell he was a class act then.

By what he was telling me about how City have been with him and his family, we seem to be putting a lot of hope into this lad.

Well; he's supposed to be from a family of blues, so the winning of hearts and minds should be a doddle!
