"I think for Kevin, the same thing. He was really young, and in the team, we had all these big names. He decided to go and play. In football, it is straightforward, the more you play, the better you become. The more you can understand the game, the more you can read the game and become confident."

thats why he needs loan next season

MeatHunterrr=Tevez City and I claim my £5.

He`s 18 with tremendous ability but the body strength of a 11 year old. When he`s ready for the physical challenge Pep will play him more.
He should definitely bulk up - take for example the Silvas - David and Bernardo. I'd hate to face these two muscle men in close quarters.

If only Foden had the strength of Bernardo...

I wonder how many of the current England players would get into the City team?
Perhaps like Sancho he would dovetail nicely into an England place but City are a different proposition.

I know your reply is meant to be sarcastic but even though height wise he is comparable to both silvas they are both physically strong. He is still behind both these players in terms of physical strength. Nobody is asking him to bulk up but he will develop naturally over the next 12 to 24 months.

Just so... it's not at all just physicality.

Anyhow, I thought that Phoden (and ultimately City) would have been best served by loaning him out.

Phoden is extremely gifted and - I think - will ultimately be a great player for our side. But currently - there's far too much competition for him to start regularly in our side - and in cases where he does start - we almost certainly have several other suitable starting alternatives - meaning that were he not to start we'd not experience a big drop off in form were he unavailable due to loan.

Forum-wide policy proclamation:

It is now a violation of the Official Bluemoon Rules to refer to Phil Foden as “Phoden”.

God Dammit - I Phoked up big time!

But- as an American - you might want to place your sentence-ending period in the American location - unless you're either feigning British origination or are unaware of American grammar.

I too have rocks to throw - and plenty of ammunition.
===
In case you're just an accidental Dick-Head - here's a thought.

Instead of trying to attack posters of whom you've no knowledge - engage in positive posts.

Were you in fact concerned about my mistaken use of "Phoden" - you'd have privately messaged me.

No - you've taken the asshole route - calling me out in public - ironically exposing your own frailties in the offing.

So here's the thing... Phuck you Sebastian Blue unless you make a public apology to me. A response to this post would be appropriate

No... not forthcoming - I thought not.
I’m not American.

And I wasn’t attacking you. Your response to a joke is... quite interesting.

If anything, I deserve an apology. But, to confirm, I am not asking for one.

By the way, I didn’t respond immediately because I was walking my dog and thus wasn’t on the forum. That last bit in your post is especially absurd, as I did see your original response which was simply “God Dammit – I Phoked up big time!”, which seemed to indicate you took my joke in the good nature it was intended, so I moved on.

Both Silva`s are incredibly difficult to move off the ball but a better examle would be Sterling who pound for pound is one of the strongest player on the ball in the whole league.

Great example with Sterling. The Silvas are hardy little scamps who are tougher than they look but Sterling is another level as you say.

I,m sorry ..but back in the late 70s/early 80s when Football was far more brutal than it was now..Graham Rix,Liam Brady..Alan Devonshire..etc all played top level football without being midfield heavyweights.
If your good enough,your old enough. Foden has the touch and ability to simply melt away from 90% of challenges......forget weight/size...red herring or another excuse to delay a youngsters progress.
Whats your next excuse for stopping the most gifted ypung player in englush football bar none from playing.
