Bollocks, was really looking forward to watching foden tonight. Mount is a very good player though in his own right as is maddison of course. Annoying cam is probably our strongest position at u 21 level

I've heard Mount is a decent player but he couldn't get a start in crucial games for championship derby. ...much less play and score in Champions league games like Foden.

It is particularly strange as foden has been such a key player in the friendly games leading up to this tournament. Only thing I can possibly think of is in typical English fashion we want more physicality in the side rather than the guile and creativity of foden.

As an Englishman I am very concerned we have given a manager who was last sacked by Northampton town (who where bottom of league 2 at the time if memory serves) the opportunity to work with a very promising crop of young players,

I watched a few of the more recent u21 games because of foden and the team seem to bypass him anyway. The manager spent most of the game shouting sideways to the players. How solanke gets picked ahead of Calvert Lewin or Abraham is a joke aswell.

Best player on the pitch and that is for both sides. Kept getting in positions for a pass only to not get one so when he did get the ball he decided to do it all himself. Next season we need to get him in the first team. He has that spark.

Phil Foden is beginning to be noticed in the wider footballing world. You can only ignore his undoubted talent for so long.

Been following his career since he was 10 years old and making fools out of 14 year olds! 'Ronnie' is OUR gem and all the jealousy and spite towards our Club from certain quarters will soon turn to personal plaudits once Foden makes his full England debut.

If Southgate truly wants to succeed, Phil ought to be named in the full squad at the earliest opportunity.

The England U21s have a better midfield than the senior team.

The senior midfield should be Winks, Foden and Maddison. Those 3 have so much talent. Sick to the back teeth of Dier, Barkley and fucking Alli. With JLingz and Hendo in the mix too. Fuck them all off for some proper footballers.
