"Manchester City have agreed a €3m (£2.6m) fee with PEC Zwolle for Netherlands U20 centre-back Philippe Sandler (20), who will remain at PEC on loan for the rest of the season. Sandler is undergoing a medical in Manchester."

...? Any idea who this is?
 
ball playing centre back, really good defensively and really good passing, im not quite sure if hell ever make the first team for city but he definetely has the potential to do so. (copied from another comment)

Also if you want to watch any of his games i suggest our home games against ajax and feyenoord, we usually play really well when at home and youll get to see him defend against the league's best teams.

A young promising defender who has been playing for PEC Zwolle this season. Sandler has played for most part of his youth for Ajax, but was eventually signed off for unspecified reasons.

He has developed himself spectacularly this season, and is being compared to Van Dijk with his playing style. Extremely accurating in his passing and quite mature in his playing.

This news comes as a shock in the Netherlands though because both AZ and PSV were trying to sign him this transfer period.

He is being regarded as one of Holland's most talented defender at the moment.
