It was funny when Max and Paddy went into a nightclub and ordered 2 pints of mild.I remember watching the Max and Paddy series, wasn't as good as the Phoenix series but had some memorable moments.

The Office has aged much better imo. Still loved Phoenix Nights, though.
Unfunny of the highest order
There i said it, await's backlash
The social club world is one that I was all too familiar with in the 90's, so I probably should have more affinity with the show than I do. It was the smoking ban that killed them off btw.The sort of club life they parodied was already almost extinct when they made it. I think it's held up well considering, certainly compared to some other notable comedies. The Young Ones in particular has aged very badly.
I think you're the only person I've ever heard of who doesn't like it.
Anyone know where I can watch it?

"It's banging."
"Cheers!"
Peter was responsible for less than half the writing of it. But got all the credit. Which is why the 3 writers fell out.Peter Kay should of been sent to a distant planet after Phoenix Nights, everything else he has done since is gash.
I watched Mind your Language on UKTURKS a couple of months ago, I realised how comedy and society has moved on in 40 years. Agree, there are some classics on the ADDONThink someone mentioned it before but UK Turk on Kodi has it on its tv series. Has loads on there. For old feckers like myself full series of Mind Your Language, George and Mildred, On The Buses, Rising Damp, Fawlty Towers right through Boys From The Blackstuff, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Blackadder.
The sammy snake scene will make me laugh till the day i day. Great series and one of the few i can go back to and watch over and over again.
