Saw them last week doing Quadrophenia - still awesome

I enjoyed the Quadrophenia show but, as I said on that thread, it was not, IMO, awesome. I saw Springsteen the night before at Wembley and he made the Who look old and tired.

Fair comment agree Daltreys voice has gone but to see the WHO do Quad one of the greatest albums ever made in my opinion was exceptional.
Next biggie for me Hoople at the Apollo in November if Hunter last that long he was 74 this month.

Somehow, I thought you'd be going to see Hereford's finest.

It was good to see Quadrophenia played in full; however I actually enjoyed seeing Rog a four years ago doing a solo gig in New York: played a very intersting set.

Pink Floyd at Maine Road

Was at that concert bloody high as a kite stood on the pitch and I didn't even smoke then.

The loudest gig ever!

Bit gutted that age dictates that I never got to see The Smiths or Joy Division live. Bowie in the Ziggy era, as the OP says, would've been special too.

Even though i love Brian Johnson, i would loved to have seen AC/DC with Bon Scott.

Yup. I've been a big fan since their heyday but only got to see them live recently. Off to see them at the o2 on the forthcoming tour.
