pics from Germany

Notice Lescott holding his shirt in that pic, did he throw it to the fans?

No disrespect to the players but I couldn't be arsed clapping them off. Was too busy taking advantage of being let out of the ground at the end of the game. It worked as well, got back to the Old Town for half 12.

Did anyone successfully jib the ICE train back to Dusseldorf?

We made the 23.09 regional train with time to spare to stock up with cans. Wasn't worth risking the ICE train for sake of about 15 minutes. Like you said great not to be kept in. Settled in a bar in the Aldstadt for 12.30ish, great trip.

I don't think the booing had anything to do with him playing for City, it was because he scored against Germany in the euros.

That tree was massive. I will try and post my pictures shortly.

It is the first time I have ever seen grown men awe struck by a Christmas tree. It was amazing and I watched a couple of our supporters just standing there open mouthed but unfortunately couldn't get my camera out fast enough to take a photo.

That was one of the best Euro away matches I have attended, friendly people, fantastic Christmas market, I received a text and phone call to say my first Great-Grandchild had been born (a month early) so I celebrated with a Gluwhein which was absolutely delicious and cheap.

Then on to the match where the stewards were helpful and cheerful, bare minimum pat down search, in to the game (enough said) and then they let us out afterwards without any fuss whatsoever. Brilliant.

And once again Spike's trip was also well organised so all in all a tiring but great 24 hours apart from the result!! :-)
