As long as the loanee behaves and complies with the rules, I'm not sure how the club could implement this clause.

If the club turn a blind eye to season ticket sharing, OK.

in truth it's something the club can't regulate on a matchday, so I suppose they have no choice but to turn a blind eye to it.

Probably just a clause to appease the authorities that they've attempted to identify everyone entering the stadium. They have to allow card loans because of late schedule changes that prevent supporters from being able to attend a particular game. Not doing so would be unfair to the buyers, who could claim a part refund if they pursued it, I guess.

In short, if everyone is sensible it works well.

The club takes the picture, not you, you plumb!(apologies for calling you that) You, as in you, get your season ticket in the post, you then make a trip to the Etihad anytime during the pre-season, you stand in-front of the mini camera, your picture is then taken, your season ticket is passed through the printer, picture is printed, and off you go. Done!

You will have 3 months to get your picture taken. Anytime you feel like going during pre-season. Once it's taken it's held on a data base, and used the following season, so you wouldn't have to go and get your picture taken again for many years.

Perhaps you'd Prefer to be scanned and possibly searched every time you enter the Etihad, instead of showing the steward your picture as you walk past. OK.

So a season ticket holder who lives 200 miles away is expected to drive to the ground during the summer to have their picture taken?
Can see that one going down well.....

Supporters Clubs allocate tickets to members and inform the club who has what. Mine would always appear on my booking history.

I can’t agree with the proposed idea. The security is overzealous and ineffective let alone inconsistent. Those wands do not work as they seem to pick nothing up. Look at flares getting in the Liverpool end. Airport security found chewing gum in my back pocket.
