Bloody hell - I am on the second picture. Are you sure this was Chelsea ? This looks like the crew that used to go from the Hat and Feathers in town after we were kicked out of the land of cakes as a base. Anyone remember the trip to Carlisle when we stopped off in Kendal and the Blackpool after the game ?

yes the lads used to meet at the Hat and Feathers.We were called Ancoats/Newton St Branch due to the fact a lot of lads were postman at Newton St Branch.Tommy Muir used to run it.
It was definitely Chelsea Full Members Final.

the 1st picture is the Ancoats/Newton St Branch on the way to Carlisle,14 in a 52 seater coach due to another Branch not turning up!
the lad in the 4th picture behind the 2 kids is Andy Mays brother Steve,all from 1986 I think on the way to Wembley.Only thinkng that as John Muir has the same top on as the other one coming out of the pub!

Yes mate,bar across the road from railway station,thought this would be a bit tricky but you are to good blues! Here's a few more.

I remember getting off the train in lokeren from Brussels on the day of the game wondering if we were a bit early, just started walking to the town centre and could faintly hear a singing, as we got closer it grew louder and turning the corner into the main square we were met by a sea
blues!
From then on it was carnage, drank the town dry! Pub after pub closing because they'd ran out of beer.
How that temporary stand didn't collapse I'll never know!
Back into Brussels and ended up in a bar til that was closed down when a lad of inbreds from stalybridge set the fire sprinklers off!

In the middle photo you see a sign post with the name Dendermonde on it .

I had the displeasure of working at the paper mill there not too many years ago .

It was horrible , hot , dark , smelly and dangerous , NEVER AGAIN .

I know it is nothing to do with football and MCFC but the photo sent shiver down my back !!

just looked at MCFC Statistics.We played Wimbledon 25th August 1984 and was the opening day fixture.2-2 draw.

I am the guy second from the left on the first pictures (Jeff Cheetham - otherwise known as "Mancitypreston" on you tube or Blackcrowes on here. The guy 5th from the left is actually my twin brother Ralph (he doesnt look like me. These pictures are brilliant (PM) me if you have got anymore. When we got off the coach at Carlisle I remember one of our lot getting racially abused, I also remember the Police coming to the pub we went to one the way back in Kendal. We also went into a pub near Blackpool. The away days I seem to remember were all very boozy and most games we missed the Kick Off. Happy days.
