Didn't notice the date!

He was not long for this world on that date iirc. He died just before we got relegated v Liverpool which must have been in the May.

edit: Swales died on 2/5/96 - just checked.

I think this was the last home game before that Liverpool game. We needed to win and did. Sheffield Wednesday 1-0. Got loads of photos from inside the stadium which are of course totally shit.

Good memories Thank you. I was jumping up to celebrate as the ball came in and watched it all the way from the perfect angle behind. Didn't remember them playing in red and black though!! Old age obviously!!
