What a day that was. Weather was great when we set off. Got to Boro and it was grey and freezing. Could spot blues a mile off in shorts and T-shirts whilst the home fans were all in big coats!

Could tell how cold it was, as I was driving up in the heat I was drinking bottled water which was lovely and cool....arrived, parked up put some long pants on and had a swig of water which was now 'warm'.

Fucking horrible day, Sven toast, it kicking off in front of me, I'll be a head somewhere in the back of the photo, 8 fucking 1 and players who were shit scared to tackle in case another yellow knocked us out of the fair play bollocks.

I got nicked outside Roses Bar after the Blackpool first game 3rd Div game. Breach of the peace and bound over. Never came up in my DBS check though!!

On a similar theme I've not seen the bloke on the far left for a few years
Often wearing a viking helmet and always clowning around on the European trips.
He was in our hotel on the morning after the Wolfsburg friendly and was about to fly to Dublin via Hanover and Heathrow as City were playing twice in two days
