Was just going to mention that. Little shitty kiosk - they used to get robbed and abused all the time.

Look in the first pic. There's a lad just stood on the roof of the refreshment kiosk watching the game with his hands in his pocket while it all kicks off. Was a different game back then.

The youth on the roof has been identified!! I wont discuss names on here!!!

There are some incredible pictures on that site of City fans rioting, invading the pitch and attacking the Luton players after that game which I never knew even existed. There are 30 or 40 of them. Totally amazing.

Bit of a sickener for me this one. My brother (RIP) is in the thick of the action in front of the Maine Stand there. Not seen a picture of him for a while and it's a bit of a shock. It was a horrible day that and emotions ran high.

To be honest, this thread has been brilliant and has hit home how we are all Blues together. The ones posted by Didsbury Dave at Coventry for instance - I recognise the face and its highly possible we could have exchanged pleasantries along the way as Blues.I remember being in that boozer the same day.

I am quite ashamed at some of the things I have put about DD and others on this forum in reflection. If I was at a match, I wouldn't even think of saying the same things to a fellow Blue.

At the end of the day we all want the same thing which is success for City though we may have differing opinions on the way we can achieve this.

Luton players and Pleat should have just fucked off the pitch instead of celebrating
in front of the City fans.
Well they didnt celebrate for long.

They were perfectly entitled to celebrate missing out on being relegated. Would you have celebrated less on May 13th if QPR had been relegated that day? Of course you wouldn't.

That said, it does amuse me when people come on here acting the hard man, so feel free to carry on.

The way Pleat and the Luton staff raced across the pitch was little provocative to be fair. I think the pics make it look worse than it really was. Dont think anyone really got hurt.

It was really a bit of handbags, a lad I used to work with booted Pleat up the arse, it was funny at the time.

Have seen the video on youtube of this game. When the ball hits the back of the net, the entire paddock of city fans jumps about 6 feet into the air. Absolutely mental. Wish I saw them days.

helen turner made this trip, but by then was in a wheel-chair,sad to see.

gone are the days you,ll find me on a silly pre-season trip tho!!
