Pictures of your pet gold fish

Here's Billy he's 9 years old now and lives in his own shit and pellet food. I think he/she is a Pleco and about 11 inches long and as fat as a Geordie chippy worker.

Lovely fish that. I only have a 60 litre tank nowadays, just big enough for a few Mollies, Neons etc. But back in the day I had a much bigger set up. Amongst them we had two Plecs like yours, they bred and we ended up with a further three .... all lived to a good long age and yup, they get pretty big. Had two Clown Loaches that were a similar size too.

My Goldfish is inside the cat.
Got any spare biggsy , merlin is hungry

A couple of years ago merlin brought me in a huge white fish , i saw him coming up the garden with it , he brought it in and dropped it at my feet and looked at me as if to say what the fuck do we do with this thing . I have a few neighbours with ponds so i expected a knock on the door but we got away with it

Ha, it's only a joke, he wouldn't know what to do with a fish :)

Thought I'd introduce my extended family to you all...... 8 gold fish I rescued from the pet supermarket being sold at 16c each as feeder fish for bigger fish..... now they can enjoy a long life living with me and listening to great music.....
I have named them Steven, Johnny, Mike, Andy, Siouxsie, Asa, Dennis and Rodney

My original post here. They all died within 3 days.
I was to embarrassed to say so at the time of the post lol

That is correct. We used to change the water when we could no longer see the fish. Didn't do him any harm.

The main thing to remember is not to use water straight out of the tap. Rain water is best but tap water should only be used if it's boiled first (and allowed to cool!!) otherwise the fluoride kills the fish.
Boiling water don't get rid of fluoride I'm afraid mate :-( fortunately Manchesters water doesn't have fluoride added though.
