But that doesn't even make sense for Dortmund. Wouldn't they want to accept the highest bid?

That says 'we lost interest', not that 'we are not interested'. There's a subtle but important difference, given the figures being bandied about I'm not surprised we walked awhile back either.
 
So he promised his dying grandpa that he'll play for Real Madrid. He's then linked with us and now Atletico wants him.
He's either going to, a.) Real Madrid or b.) Nowhere.

I hope I'm wrong though.
