I think ego comes into it, players like Sergio be like I want more now it happens.

For what it's worth, the major hurdle has been passed with having BvB agree to terms on their end.

Agents wrangling for more money and longer contacts, squeezing as much as they can out of City, are to be expected and I would expect a compromise to be reached over time.
