Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Does it really matter the wages are ridiculous anyway it's not like there struggling lol
KDB, Silva and Aguero would be demanding improved contracts and then the wage bill would go completely out of control.

If Auba really wants to come then he will tell his agent to lower his demands or Auba himself lowering his wage demands.

what I really dont understand is, whats the point of the club meeting with his agents a number of weeks ago, then agreeing a fee with Dortmund, without even knowing what his salary demands would be? Isnt that the point of meeting his agents in the first place?...his current rumoured salary demands should come as no surprise if we've been in talks with his representative?

Exactly. It's Italian bullshit.

We didn't pay £10m in agents fees across the entire board, last summer. Even Robinho's guy Wager Ribeiro only got £4m.

It's the usual Italian and German perception that money is no object at evil City and this figure is soon readily accepted as fact.

Most clubs, including City, establish personal terms and agents WELL BEFORE they start speaking to their clubs.

I personally don't know enough about either player, but assume that Pep having seen him and Sane perform in Germany thinks they are the ones who are worth trying to sign to improve the team.
I will trust his judgement in the place of mine or many others on the forum.

Cheers mate...you think we might have already known what the personal terms might be, before making a bid but his agent has moved the goal posts?

ALWAYS. Every deal we do.

There's a reason Sterling and De Bruyne were pursued for so long. If you don't have the agents, you don't even get to first base.

The agent won't have suddenly come up with a new figure for himself.
