Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Zippy little player? He has potential. But at this stage getting another 10 goals out of him this season will be a result.

Assuming Bony is sold. Sergio goes down for 10 league games we would struggle to make top 4 without another striker who has 20 goals all comps in the past. Throwing someone up there to 'do a job' won't win us much.

Nolito
Sterling
Sane(assuming he signs)
De Bruyne
Silva
Yaya

All have the potential to reach double figures, there's plenty of goals throughout the team regardless of who is up front .We won every game Milner played up there?

And if rumours are to be believed why spend £50mil+ on this guy when we'll potentially have Brazil's brightest talent here come January who is easily capable of 15+ goals a season

Caballero
Denayer Mangala Clichy
Maffeo Yaya Fernando KDB Angelino
Iheanacho Sterling
....Or:
Caballero
Denayer Mangala Adarabioyo Clichy
Yaya Fernando
Nasri De Bruyne Nolito
Iheanacho

*Sterling deputising any of the front 4 roles
*Maffeo and Angelino deputising for Denayer and Clichy respectively

This is the sort of team I'm dreaming about come next season:

Hart
Sagna Kompany Otamendi
Bellerin* Gundogan Fernandinho Silva WB*
Aubameyang* Aguero

*i'd love us to have 2 Hectors at wing back positions but how likely is it to pull both transfers? Gaya is another option but again can we get this done before close of the transfer window?

*Aubameyang will no doubt give us some real bite going forward and having good wing backs that deliver sweet good crosses into the box, you cannot help but salivate at the prospect of having Auba at the center to finish off
So you would drop Kev to the bench

if I had Bellerin, Hart, Gaya, Silva, Otto, Komps, Sagna, Gundo, Fern, Auba and Sergio in my team, yes I would play him less than I normally would. What I'll actually do is have him and Silva share that role in some way but Silva slightly edges it for me because of his ball holding skills. If it were to be a non-wide advanced position, KDB will be my obvious choice ahead of Silva.

Having seen your recent team selection, forgive me if I disagree

There's no need to forgive you for disagreeing with me as we're not all supposed to see things the same way. It's yeh only way this forum can be exciting but it would've been more helpful had you pointed out specific areas in the team selection that you disagree with

I was alluding to your team selection that I asked what was that team for i.e. had Willy in nets

Sane, Sterling, Aguero, Silva, De Bruyne, Iheanacho then Nolito, for 3 positions. This Jesus kid for next season and possibly Navas as well.

A club record pay out for another player in those positions seems very unlikely.

Got to say i agree. Unless players like Navas, Bony and Nasri are moved on before the start of the season. Probably Zinchenko out on loan as well.
