I watched the spat with Morgan and Alex the weatherman and as it unfolded I was sure Morgan was hungover. He'd turned up feeling rough, got into an argument about someone he didn't like and went over the top. There was a moment the camera panned on his face just before he stormed off set and you could see he knew he'd gone too far, but it was too late, the damage was done.
