Watched a documentary film about the truth about 9 / 11 that Alex jones did. Very interesting to watch.

Be very wary of Jones, especially when it comes to 9/11. It concerns me how he is portrayed as the "daddy" when it comes to that subject, because he has poisoned the 9/11 Truth well. Jones has given the likes of James Fetzer, and (screw) Loose Change limelight, and they're charlatans. I'm very much for 9/11 truth, and the 9/11 Commission Report belongs on the fiction section of the library, but there is a lot of disinformation that has saturated the internet which is very damaging. There are some excellent 9/11 documentaries. Sadly, they don't include satanic hand signals, Bavarian death cults, Illuminati references, or mind control chips to appease the fan boys.

Jones made a complete mess of himself, and ended up just being a ranting loonatic. Piers just used him. This is how you do it...

The key point in that video is that Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica have a far worse gun problem than the US despite far fewer guns - the US was ranked 28th for gun crime despite having by far the most guns percentage wise.

Guns are not the problem. It's people.

Just to clarify my own view, I would not want our gun ban lifted over here but I do not think that guns should be taken away from law-abiding American citizens who use them to protect their property and families.

The stats are pretty conclusive.

By your reasoning above the US should be firmly planted at number 1 for gun murder rate in the world given it's gun ownership rate is the highest in the world BY FAR, but as the guy points out there are 27 countries that have a higher gun murder rate despite far fewer guns proportionately.

This combined with the stat that 74% of America's gun murders are gang related make it clear to me that it's the type of people, not the guns which are causing this problem.

You're fooling nobody with your wumming. Even your harshest critic knows you're not stupid enough to not wonder why when it comes to homicides, we're not comparing the United States to other developed countries, because the murder rate is so much higher than in any other developed country.
