Pineapple on Pizza

Pineapple and black olives on pizza together, sweet and salty. Add anchovies for extra kick.

A favourite of mine, all the above plus mushroom, pepperoni and jalapenos.

Tomatoes go well with loads of things, most things!

Cranberry and poultry
Plum and duck
A squeeze of lemon on loads of things is great
Mango and chicken
Melon/grapes/pineapple with ham
Peach/nectarine/apricot with steak

Interesting, not ever really heard this before, is it as a sauce or very much like the pineapple and laid on top to take a bit of each into the mouth at the same time?

I worked in a pizza joint in England for over 5 years and ham and pineapple was the biggest seller. No one in the kitchen or driver would have pineapple on a staff pizza that was the rule.

Ive had it twice in 20 years and enjoyed it a lot both times, but not enough to buy it myself.

Some go well. I quite like duck with plum and hoi sin sauce together.

Never see the big deal about people complaining about pineapple on pizza, the same people that probably put sickly sweet BBQ sauce on a steak
