Pink Floyd albums..

I've been a Pink Floyd fan for over 30 years but can't seperate DSOTM and WYWH. Like a lot of others, I can't abide The Final Cut but hey ho. Also, while they've produced some stunning work there's also been the odd clanger like

I've got a bike
You can ride it if you like
Its got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could
But I borrowed it

i m a self confessed floyd freak. i m shocked that only a select few mention "obscured by clouds" my ranking are as follows:

1.dark side of the moon
2.the wall
3.obscured by clouds
4.wish you were here
5.meddle
6.momentry lapse of reason
7.atom heart mother
8.division bell
9.animals
10.piper at the gates of dawn.....


some of these albums need personal and private listening(your own head space!)...thanks to the OP...i may have a floyd night now,you just got me buzzin now. cheers!

They are simply musical perfection.

Dark side for me (oz..) can't believe Momentary Lapse of reason has only been mentioned once..! "Sorrow" is a classic.

Love all the Early Syd inspired stuff too, as well as his Solo stuff, Madcap and Barrett..! basic crazy tunes that would have been classics if Floyd had worked on them.

Ummagumma.. Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving to a pict...

Saw them at Maine rd 88 (still got a vid somewhere) and a wonderful trip to Rotterdam in 94...through a smokey haze..

Best album has to be Dark Side of the Moon. Every track is amazing. However, Wish You Were Here is my favourite out of everything they've done, but Shine on You Crazy Diamond and I've Got a Bike are fantastic.
