Not too sure he'd succeed in the Premier League at his age to be honest but having such an influential player for free in a midfield that has often struggled to create could tempt Bobby if we are tightening the purse-strings for FFP.

Barcelona, Real Madrid & Manchester City Look At Free Deal For Milan's Andrea Pirlo - Report
Pirlo's contract expires in June, and while Milan look to discuss a renewal, a number of top European clubs could move in for him...
By Salvatore Landolina
Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo is attracting a hoard of interest from a long list of Europe's top clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City as the Italian club delay extension plans.
Pirlo, 31 and with a contract expiring in June, has been waiting on a new deal since last summer, but Milan have pushed negotiations into the background. CEO Adriano Galliani is unlikely to pick up talks until April, leaving a window for clubs keen on Pirlo to peer in.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says the European-wide interest stretches across Serie A, the Premier League and La Liga as he would be available on a free deal.
Both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have always been admirers of the 2006 World Cup winner, and Italian Roberto Mancini would also like him in his ranks at Eastlands to play with fellow Italy international Mario Balotelli.
However, Juventus and Inter, his former club, are also considering moves. Coach Leonardo worked alongside Pirlo at Milan last season, and the working relationship is a well established one.
But Milan will not want to lose their man easily. Adriano Galliani has started initial talks with the player's agent Tulio Tinti in Milan.
More developments are expected with Milan, but interested clubs are on alert in case the plans for an extension fail to lift off the ground.
